In the list, two experiments interest us

  • 09084 Lee, J. Comparison of Spectroscopic Factors from (p,d) and Knockout
    258 hrs requested and approved
  • 09067 DeYoung, P. 15Be Ground State Formed via a (d,p) Reaction
    204 hrs requested and approved

In the previous cycle: http://www.nscl.msu.edu/exp/approvedexp/33

  • 09041 Cizewski, J. Spectroscopic Factors from the 86Kr(d,p) Reaction
    91 hrs requested and approved

Triumf:

There are at the bottom two (d,p) experiments:

  • S1297 Investigating halo states with the 11Be(p,d)10Be* transfer reaction at 10 MeV per nucleon, F. Sarazin, F.M.Nunes,
  • S1298 Using (d,p) to probe the negative parity orbitals affecting the magic numbers N=20, 28, 32 and 34, W.N. Catford.

HRIBF:

http://www.phy.ornl.gov/hribf/experiments/pac15-app.shtml

A number of them with Bill Peters, Kate Jones and Steve Pain involving (d,p) or (d,pg).

TAMU:

  • A 14C(d,p) experiment at different energies. At 17 MeV deuteron energy the experiment has been performed at Prague-Rez, Institute of Nuclear Physics, and Akram is completing the paper, with ADWBA calculations from MSU. At Texas A&M University this experiment has been performed at two deuteron energies, 30 and 50 MeV, and the analysis is underway.
