Life after Kernz08?December
9th-12th, 2008 CANCELLED (9 Aug)
If there is
sufficient interest there will be a three-day meeting at the Australian National
University in the week following KERNZ08 in New Zealand. The meeting will be
hosted by the Department of Nuclear Physics at the
It will be an opportunity for participants to visit the major Nuclear Physics laboratory in the southern Hemisphere, the Heavy Ion Accelerator Facility at the ANU: www. rsphysse.anu.edu.au/nuclear The venues will be the newly opened Lecture Theatre at the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR ) on the ANU Campus and the Department of Nuclear Physics. Both venues are within walking distance of each other and within walking distance of a variety of accommodation on or close to the ANU campus.

9th December: 4pm-9pm Sign-in; Informal reception; Laboratory Tours At this stage ANU is seeking a response from KERNZ08 participants or others who would be interested in attending. ANU is mindful of the fact that some will already be making travel plans hence a prompt reply would be appreciated.
